  • Logo Concept: Minimalist monoline house silhouette with a sun/mountain horizon, conveying sophistication and Southern California lifestyle.
  • Color Palette: Navy Blue (#2C3E50) for trust, Gold (#D4AF37) for luxury accents, complemented by White (#FFFFFF) and Light Gray (#F5F5F5) for balance and readability.
  • Typography: Playfair Display for headings (elegant, high-end feel), Open Sans for body text (clean, legible).

Challenge

EMR Elevator Services had an outdated website that didn’t fully represent their professionalism or expertise. The layout was text-heavy and lacked clear organization, making it difficult for visitors to find key information such as services, service areas, or team contacts. Additionally, the design didn’t reflect the company’s strong reputation in the elevator industry or their commitment to reliability and client communication.

Approach

The redesign focused on creating a modern, structured, and trustworthy online presence. Key improvements included:

  • Clear Navigation: Simplified menu with intuitive sections like Services Offered, Where We Operate, and Meet Our Staff to guide users efficiently.
  • Professional Visuals: Introduced consistent photography and layout to humanize the brand — featuring high-quality staff photos and concise bios that highlight expertise and leadership.
  • Refined Messaging: Rewrote content to emphasize EMR’s strengths — reliability, communication, and technical skill — with approachable yet authoritative tone.

Spark Summit (Conversion Focused Campaign Page)

Challenge

This client needed to promote a three-day conference and needed a landing page that could do more than just share event details. It had to turn interest into ticket sales.

Because the event targeted visionaries, creatives, and industry leaders, the design needed to feel polished and credible, while still creating a sense of urgency to register early. In short, the page had to strike the right balance between premium and persuasive, showcasing value while driving conversions.

Approach

To bring the Spark Summit landing page to life, I focused on creating a design that was clear, engaging, and built to convert. Every element was carefully considered, from messaging and visuals to layout and functionality to guide visitors through the page, highlight the event’s value, and make signing up simple and compelling. Key highlights of the approach include:

  • Clarified the value proposition with a bold headline: “Where Innovation Meets Inspiration”. And strong sub-headline: “Join 2,000+ visionaries…” ; right away you set the audience and scale.
  • Emphasized key benefits: 60+ sessions, industry leaders, hands-on workshops, networking.
  • Visual hierarchy & layout: hero section, ticket tiers, schedule snapshot, testimonials, FAQs.
  • Conversion-focus: clear CTAs (“Secure Your Spot”, “Get Your Tickets”), price tiers, urgency (“Early Bird $299”).
  • Trust elements: featured speakers (names + roles), testimonials from past attendees, venue info (historic venue adds prestige).
  • User experience/design considerations: e.g., mobile responsiveness, clean typography, use of imagery to evoke innovation & inspiration.
  • Backend/integration: ticketing system, form/submission, analytics/tracking.

Outcome

The landing page made a noticeable impact right away. Even without all the full analytics yet, there were clear signs of success:

Registrations jumped compared to the previous event page — early metrics already showed a significant uptick.

Early bird tickets sold out faster than anticipated, creating buzz and urgency around the event.

Visitors stayed engaged longer on the page, with lower bounce rates from email and paid ad traffic.

The client shared their excitement: “The landing page finally gave us the premium look we needed, and we saw registrations double in the first week.”

Conclusion:
This project demonstrates my value in designing for professional -service clients for the purpose of organizing a thought-leadership event. I learned that focusing on credibility and outcome leads to effective messaging when it comes to high-value professionals.

Challenge

This client needed a new website with an effective design strategy to establish a credible national brand. The site had to connect with a broad audience, be easy to navigate, and focus on converting visitors into leads or customers. Our challenge was to strike the right balance between visual appeal, functionality, and user behavior to make that happen and deliver real results.

Goal

Establish Brand Credibility:

Established Brand Credibility:
The site was built with cohesive, professional branding featuring consistent colors, typography, and imagery aligned with a national identity. Trust-building elements such as client testimonials, research-based content, and clearly accessible legal pages (About Us, Privacy Policy, Terms of Service) were used to enhance transparency and credibility.

The objective here is to establish JIS Orthopedics and its physicians as the leading experts in orthopedics while boosting site traffic and converting visitors into patients through online scheduling, calls, and form submissions.

Challenge

New Moon Yoga needed a website designed for their new yoga studio! Their main priority is to make new clients feel welcome, provide information on the different types of classes, introduce their certified yoga instructors, and allow students to sign up for classes online. No specific photography was provided. A branding guide was included with colors and font requirements.

Goal
